The Rising Hut is a self contained cabin where you can really relax. Enjoy seclusion with the stars at night. Nestled in a private sunny location, only 10 minutes walk to the waterfall & stunning river swimming spots. You can walk for minutes or hours into the Coromandel Forest Park, along DOC tracks.

Featuring a Hot Bath with an uninterrupted view of the Ranges, it feels isolated, but it’s only a few minutes to the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive to Thames, cafés, shops and to beaches of the Hauraki Gulf. Spring water on tap in a low EMF environment.

Linen, towels, soap, cutlery & crockery are provided. There is a gas cooker, basic solar lighting & charging, gas califont for hot water. Queen & King Single matresses. Compost loo.

Upon your arrival we will greet you and take you to the hut.

This Back Country Hut has mobile reception but no wifi. Vegetarian & smoke free.
