We are seeking ONE investor at $285k (NZD) to complete the first stage of our vision. Wholeness River Retreat is a precious piece of paradise in a very accessible location on the Thames Coast, Coromandel Peninsula, Aotearoa NZ.

Sharing Ownership

Kiri Ko and Dez Nichols shared the initial purchase price. Kiri has since funded the repair of buildings, build of cabins, creation of gardens and daily maintenance. Investment entitles the investor to build a certified dwelling or retreat space, the main home on this property.

Your investment secures 40% of the title to 33 beautiful acres with abundant water, forest and pasture.

Landscape

33 acres of mixed paddock, manuka regrowth and established native forest bordering the Coromandel Forest Park. Wetlands, old growth trees and waterfalls. A stunning river is adjacent to our boundary. Several internal spring fed streams are available to gravity feed water. DOC track passes along the boundary and deep into the Coromandel Ranges, connecting with popular tracks southerly to the Pinnacles.

We are currently fencing for biodynamic cows. There are recently established organic orchards and small vegetable gardens. We have volcanic topsoil in this area. The land is suitable for grazing, manuka provides ample food for beekeeping.

Buildings

There is an existing 50m2 1960’s cottage, which we currently use as the main house for several (<30m2) cabins. Here we have our yoga room, communal bathroom and camp kitchen (for travellers). There are three sheds, a hen house, and two greenhouses (under repair).

Our Vision

We are cultivating a Mystery School in Nature which combines the best of contemporary Conscious Relationship practices with Yoga and Anthroposophy. Ideally our investor will be fluent in some or all of these practices, and willing to learn, to teach and to participate in the dynamic unfoldment of a small retreat community.
